A wedding of dreams.. dip in view the fantastic slideshow and read the lovely love words from Rosie and Steve. Royal Pump Rooms and Jephson Gardens in Leamington Spa – you are a thing a beauty!

Tell us about how you met and what your first impressions were of each other?: We met at work, and my first impression was that he was a very funny, very nice guy and we hit it off straight away. Both of us were with other people at the time so we started off as friends and then I went back to university. However we continued to keep in touch, love blossomed and Steve asked me out about a year later just after I finished the London Marathon in 2010!

Who proposed and how?: We’ve been together a long time so getting married is obviously something we had spoken about for a number of years but more seriously in the preceeding few months. So when it came to planning a proposal we sort of planned everything together- even to choosing a beautiful vintage ring together from the jewellery quarter.
On the day itself we went spot where we’ve liked to walk since moving to Birmingham on the Clent Hills. We found a nice spot overlooking the city and I got down on one knee.

Describe each other in three words…: Rosie- Steve is always relaxed, always positive- and, I will never hear the end of this – very very funny.
Steve- The qualities I think about when I think about Rosie are her determined nature, her quick comebacks and the fact she also is very very funny but is completely unaware that she is.

What made you fall in love with your venue?: We wanted a chic, city wedding and this fitted the bill perfectly, with the added suprise of the modern glasshouse and the heritage of the beautiful pump rooms. When we looked around we could picture exactly the day we wanted and loved the idea of walking between the two with our guests in tow.

What was your favourite part of the day?: There’s so many it’s difficult to pick just one! We were woried about the first dance, however, when the band said they hadn’t rehearsed our first song and we said we hadn’t rehearsed either we all had a bit of a chuckle, relaxed immediately and got the party started!

What is the one moment you’ll never forget?: Rosie- For me it was when my Dad first saw me in my wedding dress – it was such a special and emotional moment for both of us.
Steve- When Rosie’s Dad did his speech- it was just perfect. Everything a speech should be.

Why did you choose Warwickshire wedding photographers, Amara Grace Photography?: We were visiting our cousins who had some gorgeous portraits on their wall- by Amara Grace. We loved the relaxed, natural style which was exactly what we wanted for our wedding photography- we got in touch and the rest is history!

Tell us more about your suppliers, is there anyone you want to mention ?: …Where do we start??…

Ava EventStyling
We encountered our florists Ava by chance after walking past their studio- which happens to be round the corner from where we live! After looking at some of their work online we soon realised that they would be the ones to help us to achieve the look that we were going for on the big day. We had an idea in our head of the style we wanted and they understood right away, taking our basic concept and making it so much better than we could have ever anticipated. It also helped that they are two of the loveliest most talented ladies, it made working with them an absolute dream from day one and all the more special when we saw how amazing our bouquets and the venue looked.

Pam @ Red Cake Company
Whilst working with Ava on the look for the day we began to discuss some other parts of it and what we had in mind. When talking about the cake the girls at Ava mentioned Pam @ the Red Cake Company. We looked at her work on Instagram and knew instantly that we wanted her to be the one to design our cake. Again, we had quite a clear idea in our mind that Pam was able to translate into a beautiful cake, the only difficult part was choosing the flavours but we got there in the end after a very comprehensive tasting! The cake tasted as delicious as it looked and one of the best parts of the process was seeing her and her Mum, Norma after the wedding to pore over pictures and stories from the day over a cup of tea.

Steven Holland and Sarah Cook @ Just Inspire
With regards to Steven and Sarah its difficult to know where to begin. From our first meeting to the last hour of the wedding they were always there for us. Our relationship started by accident. Initially we had booked the venue through a different provider and when that fell through we were worried that big day might be in jeopardy, but from the moment Steven and Sarah and the rest of the team at Just Inspire arrived on the scene we were completely reassured. If we thought their support through planning process couldn’t be topped, on the day itself they were complete professionals and as well as ensuring the day ran smoothly went above and beyond in every regard to ensure everything went perfectly. They also introduced us to Marianne Taverner who designed a beautiful ceiling installation that complemented the look of the venue and fitted in perfectly with the rest of our theme.

Tabby at Coco and Kate helped me pick out the most beautiful dress and put me in touch with Gemma at Stiched-Up who made sure it fitted perfectly.

I booked BryonyDalton MUA as soon as we had the wedding date- she does the most beautiful make up and is so lovely which made the make up trials a dream. She also recommended Jessica from @ModeBridal Hair who again was so lovely and talented and could translate exactly the look that I wanted for the big day. The morning of the wedding itself was so relaxed and enjoyable because they were absolute professionals and just really fun to be around. I felt a millon dollars and thought my sisters and my Mum looked beautiful.

Our rings were designed by James Newman in the Jewellery quarter, we both wanted simple, classic rings with a modern finish and he created the perfect wedding bands for us.
