The sun shone bright for our trip to the Malvern hills to help capture Alex and Sean’s Day on 22nd June 2019. Set in incredible surroundings the couple were blessed with glorious weather all day. Their stunning storybook slideshow is featured below to experience a real flavour of their day.

It was our first time shooting at the Old Castle Wedding Venue and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Their day was packed full of entertainment with garden games, Stephen Seabourne magician and Sara’s parlour face painting artist to name a few highlights.

Both of their morning preparations took place at the venue, Alex helped by her bridesmaids and parents and Sean with his family, best man and ushers. Alex looked breathtaking with hair and make up by Lauren gosling and Claire Bache.  Her dress a stunning backless number was from Dando London and perfect flowers by the fabulous florist – Kat.  Simon was styled from a suit by Colemore Tailor.

After an emotional ceremony in the dramatic barn sun and confetti set the tone of such happy day and mouth-watering cocktails refreshed guests on the extensive lawns framing the venue.

Guests were treated to a tasty dinner in the marquee with funny and touching speeches. Alex wowed us with a fabulous poem to Sean and guests even had guiness shots for the toast 🙂

We enjoyed a romantic portrait session in the beautiful golden light at the lake before the fabulous entertainment of Hard to handle band, tasty food by caviar and chips and a beautiful cake by the cake tin.  The final highlights were sparklers on the main staircase, that everyone joined in!

Congratulations Mr and Mrs McGovern
