Cheryl and Dan’s day was so dreamy and romantic, lots of beautiful details and gorgeous flowers. To complete their day the weather was divine making full use of the stunning backdrop of Dodmoor House , Northamptonshire and gardens. Let’s find out a little more about them…

Dodmoor House Northamptonshire - Mr and Mrs CornsTell us about how you met and what your first impressions were of each other?: We actually met for the first time at a mutual friend’s wedding, we were sat opposite each other! I remember thinking he was so handsome and funny, very charming. It was a Halloween wedding and he was trying to get me to play along and wear silly masks, get face painted and dance. We got on really well it was a lovely day. The night ended and we went our separate ways, we didn’t exchange numbers and never thought anything of it. But then, 6 months later, we ended up at a party, in the same room, with a completely different friendship group and that was it! We started getting to know each other and everything changed! He has always been so kind, so funny, easy to talk to. Even now he makes my belly hurt and face ache from all the laughing we do together. I remember thinking he would change things for me and that he did. He changed my life forever!

Who proposed and how?:
Daniel proposed on our 2 week trip to Jamaica in May 2017 – it was such a beautiful moment!
The weather was beautiful out there, however, we were there during the rainy season, it never got in the way too much but towards the end of the 2 weeks, there was one beautiful sunny and hot day, not a cloud insight and it had been the first day like that for a while. We had a lovely day together exploring, we got dressed up that night and played our favourite game of pool at the local bar, we had cocktails in the Infinity bar overlooking the beautiful surroundings whilst watching an amazing Steel Pan Band. We then ate in a our favourite Al a Carte restaurant there before he took my hand and we strolled along the white sandy beach. It was a beautiful night and I remember looking at him, he hadn’t spoken much since dinner and something seemed to be bothering him. Then before I knew it he dropped down on one knee! It was romantic and just us, which was perfect.

Describe each other in three words…: Dan – Playful, Handsome, Courageous
Cheryl – Funny, Witty, Beautiful

What made you fall in love with your venue?: The rustic and quaint feel, the fact that it was in the countryside with lots of beautiful outdoor space. Oh and the Fairy lit barns, what more could you want?! The staff were amazing too!

What was your favourite part of the day?: The Ceremony without a doubt! Our florist decorated the venue so well, it was a stunning setting and a very special time for us both.

Why did you choose Warwickshire wedding photographers, Amara Grace Photography?:

We fell in love with the pictures we had seen online. We decided to pop by and visit Karen & Hollie and as soon as we stepped into their studio to see them and their work up close, we knew instantly they were the ones for us. No one better could have captured our special day.
