When we first met Amara and Ben we know it was a match made in heaven…. the most perfect day at gorgeous Crockwell Farm…
Tell us about how you met and what your first impressions were of each other?: We met in school and we were friends (Ben always liked me but I never knew until later) we fell out about something minor and then I left for uni in Nottingham and we lost touch.
We bumped into each other on a night out in Northampton when I was home over the summer and then started dating.
My first impression of Ben was that he was really nice but I never considered going out with him because he was younger and a bit immature.
My first impression of Amara was that she was an extremely nice person and always took the time to make me feel welcome even though she had her own friendship group. We texted constantly when I first joined school and she always used to tell me about her boy troubles when really all I wanted to do was talk about us!!
Who proposed and how?: I proposed to Amara when we went away for a trip to London. I had told everyone the sort of time I would be doing it on the day and when it got to near the time and we were still out exploring I got really nervous and dragged us both to the room as quickly as possible! I proposed in ourself hotel room as I knew Amara wouldn’t want to do it in public. James Arthur – Say you won’t let go (our first dance song) was on in the background.
Describe each other in three words…: I’d say Ben is unfailingly kind, hilariously funny and always happy.
I’d say Amara is; my perfect soulmate.
What made you fall in love with your venue?: We saw the barn on the website and absolutely loved it but I think the moment we decided it was for us was when we went to visit on the open afternoon, as we drove up it was so beautiful, it took our breath away.
What was your favourite part of the day?: My favourite part of the day was actually the part I was least looking forward to, the ceremony. I loved walking down the aisle and seeing Ben for the first time and saying I do in front of all our friends and family.
My favourite part was getting married to Amara (even though I was quite nervous) in front of all our family and friends. Seeing everyone together was really special for us.
What is the one moment you’ll never forget?: I will never forgot the moment I turned round and saw Amara for the first time, she looked beautiful and I even got teary even though I promised myself I wouldn’t!
I will never forget walking on to the dance floor in the evening and seeing all of our friends and family dancing and laughing together. Even people that had never met before, everyone just got on so well.
Why did you choose Warwickshire wedding photographers, Amara Grace Photography?: We couldn’t believe (and still can’t) the quality of the pictures Amara Grace took; we could tell they were definitely going’s to get more and more popular due to their amazing work. We also loved the name initially!
Tell us more about your suppliers, is there anyone you want to mention ?: All of our suppliers were incredible and made our day so special, the band Fraudio were a particular highlight, everyone said how amazing they were!
