Further changes we have adopted and how We Reduce Our Impact 

🌿 We’ve Gone Digital

We deliver contracts using an online system

We no longer print multi-page information packs. Everything is delivered digitally via our workflow systems and mobile platforms.

We’ve created an electronic wedding guide that includes 17 ways couples can make their day more sustainable — without compromising on style or experience.

We also actively reduce digital waste by streamlining storage and unsubscribing from unnecessary communications.

We use Ecosia – the search engine that plants trees and uses renewable energy

🚗 We Travel Smarter

Where possible, meetings are held online to reduce unnecessary journeys and fuel emissions.

We car share as much as possible to reduce emissions and book 80% of our work with local venues.

If travelling further afield we will always look at options around public transport first.

Small reductions in travel across many weddings create meaningful long-term impact.

🔋 We Use What We Have — And Use It Well

Equipment is carefully maintained and repaired to extend its lifespan.

We prioritise sourcing high-quality second-hand equipment rather than buying new.

All batteries are rechargeable.

Solar panels have been installed at our home office to power computers and equipment.

This reduces manufacturing demand, landfill waste, and the carbon cost of production.

We believe in circular choices over constant consumption.

📦 Thoughtful Gifting

We’ve reimagined how we deliver products to couples.

Since 2020 all photo galleries are delivered via online in digital format. This reduces postage and USB cost. 

Our main print supplier is UK based and part of the Carbon capture scheme and products are FSC approved

Instead of posting gift boxes we now provide a carefully considered ‘thank you gift’ on the wedding day

For every couple who book a full day service, we plant trees — contributing to carbon offsetting and reforestation efforts.

We undertook our Carbon Literacy training in 2025 and we are certified Carbon Literate. This has provided us with tools to make an positive impact in reducing our business carbon footprint.

Our Measurable Commitments (2026–2029)

We believe in transparency, so we’ve set clear targets:

• 90% reduction in paper usage compared to our previous workflow.

• 80% reduction in business travel emissions through remote meetings.

• 100% rechargeable battery usage.

• At least 60% of equipment purchases sourced second-hand.

• A tree planted for every full day wedding we photograph.

We align with the UK’s Net Zero 2050 ambition and prioritise emission reduction before offsetting wherever possible. Our actions are designed to reduce:

• Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) • Methane (CH₄)

Through reduced travel, lower consumption, smarter procurement and mindful digital use.

In our most recent reporting year 2025, our total estimated emissions were 2.28 tonnes of CO₂e, which is roughly equivalent to 8,396 miles driven in a diesel car.

Our emissions mainly come from operational activities such as home energy use while working remotely, travel using a hybrid vehicle, and essential business services including software, marketing and accounting.

By monitoring these categories we can identify our largest carbon hotspots and work towards reducing them over time. We remain committed to reviewing our footprint annually and making practical changes that help minimise our environmental impact.

Sustainability is not a one-time action. It’s a continuous process of learning, adjusting and doing better.

We’re committed to evolving as new solutions emerge — because protecting the future matters just as much as documenting the present.
